Nova3 AI sets the business standard for always-on AI agents as OpenAI dots, Meta Muse and Grok Bot reach the market

Three of the largest AI labs shipped always-on agents in seven weeks. Nova3 AI publishes the framework businesses need to choose between OpenAI dots, Meta Muse, SpaceXAI Grok Bot and Claude, and puts them to work on real jobs with controls, owners and a measured result.

Nova3 AI, the AI operations company, today published its standard for adopting always-on AI agents in business, and opened setup engagements for OpenAI dots, Meta Muse, SpaceXAI Grok Bot and Anthropic Claude. Between August 11 and September 29, 2026, SpaceXAI launched Grok Bot, Meta launched Muse and OpenAI launched dots: agents that run on their own cloud computer, start work on a schedule or when something happens, and keep going after the app is closed. The products arrived fast. A way to decide which one belongs on which job did not.

The launches

• SpaceXAI Grok Bot (August 11, beta; enterprise September 3). A team of named agents, each with its own computer, that work inside apps and keep working around the clock. The enterprise release added access, network and audit controls.
• Meta Muse (September 8; Muse for Small Business September 29). A personal agent people message to complete digital tasks in a secure cloud environment, extended to small businesses with connections to tools such as Slack, Shopify, Asana and Meta ad accounts. Available free with usage limits, with paid plans for more.
• OpenAI dots (September 29). Always-on agents in ChatGPT, powered by GPT-6 Astra, that run on their own cloud computer, learn from feedback over time and work on the user's behalf. Rollout began with ChatGPT Pro subscribers.
• Anthropic Claude. Claude Tag brings routines into Slack, and Anthropic folded its cloud sessions into the main Claude app in the same window.

The standard: pick the job before the bot

Every one of these products is sold as an assistant that does everything. In practice each request a business makes falls into one of three behaviors. Help me now: an answer or a draft in the same conversation. Take a job and bring it back: the agent works on its own and returns with a result or a question. Keep doing agreed work: the agent runs a routine on a schedule or when an event fires, without anyone asking each time. The products overlap across all three, and none of the three is a maturity level. They are different jobs with different risks.

Matching a real job to a behavior leads to one of four outcomes: use the product as supplied, configure it, connect it to the systems it cannot reach on its own, or do not adopt it for that job. Nova3 AI tests each against one weekly job, written down as it is done today, with a definition of finished, and checks the result directly rather than trusting the agent's own summary.

What decides the choice

• Where the work lives. Muse reaches people through WhatsApp and Meta's apps and connects to Meta ad accounts. Dots lives inside ChatGPT. Grok Bot works inside apps and Cursor. Claude works inside Slack. The right agent is the one already standing where the work happens.
• Who can see and stop it. An agent that runs unattended needs an owner, an audit trail and an off switch. On Grok Bot, audit logs, the MCP allowlist and SCIM are Enterprise-only, so the plan tier is a security decision, not a billing one.
• What it costs per finished job. Seat prices range from free tiers to premium plans. The number that matters is the cost of one job completed to standard, measured over a few weeks.
