Anthropic’s fallbacks parameter now supports a default mode for recommended fallback models by refusal category.

The important change is provider-selected fallback behavior by refusal category, gated behind the server-side fallback beta.

For builders handling refusals, default mode means Anthropic’s recommended fallback models apply only with the required beta header.
